Lots of Training and the Next World Championship ... This time in Kiel
After an intensive first half of the season, featuring training camps and regattas in Valencia, Carnon, Malcesine, and Mühlehorn, we are looking forward with great anticipation to the upcoming highlights of the year. The past months have shown that the hard work on the water is paying off and that we have made significant progress as a team. The diverse conditions, including strong winds, waves, and tactically demanding races, have provided us with valuable experience for the challenges ahead.
Before heading to Kiel, we still have one more training session with the SST on our schedule. This final preparation weekend together offers the ideal opportunity to fine-tune the last details, consolidate our routines, and ensure that we are fully prepared for the major events ahead.
After that, all eyes will be on Kiel. At the end of June, the EuroCup, held as part of Kiel Week, will bring one of the most prestigious and internationally renowned events of the 29er class. Directly afterwards, in early July, the 29er World Championship will take place at the Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Sailing Centre, where the world’s best young sailors will compete against one another.
We are excited to measure ourselves against the international competition and to gain further experience at the highest level. With strong motivation, team spirit, and great anticipation, we are looking forward to the weeks ahead.

Summer 2025
Experiences at the European Championship in Riva and the World Championship in Porto
The European Championship in Riva del Garda was our very first international event – exciting, intense, and full of new experiences. After a somewhat bumpy start in training, we quickly grew together as a team and made important progress during the regatta. Even though we didn’t sail at the very front, we could clearly feel how much we had learned in such a short time. The feeling of starting in a large fleet and gaining more confidence race by race was definitely a highlight.
With that momentum, we soon headed to the World Championship in Porto. There, we faced extremely challenging conditions: light, often unstable winds combined with high waves made sailing anything but easy. Some days meant long waiting times, while on others we managed to sail valuable races. Our best result was an eleventh place in the qualification – a moment that showed us we really can keep up. In the end, we finished further back in the overall ranking, but the experience itself was truly unforgettable.
Both regattas demanded a lot from us, but they also made clear how crucial teamwork, mental strength, and adaptability are. Above all, they left us hungry for more – and motivated to tackle the next steps with even greater energy.

My time in Optimist
I had a great time at Optimist and was allowed to go to the Europeans in Carrara in the summer of 2024.
